  NEW CD RELEASE: HONKY TONK HEAVEN On Calamity & Main's new recording "Honky Tonk Heaven" big words like chronic infidelity, delirium tremens, amorous ineptitude and suicidal tendencies are treated melodically with a danceable beat that's fun for the entire family. Like the dirt dug up for a celebrity divorce proceeding, these fourteen tunes prove the axiom that misery loves company, if only in the satisfaction from knowing the fella on the next bar stool has it worse then you do. In preparing the twelve original songs for this release C&M drew from our own past misadventures, and having lived to tell it all we could do no less but drink a tear-tainted beer and have a few laughs on our own behalf. It has been the sole purpose of Calamity & Main's two years of gigging to show folks a good time, to put a pep in their step and maybe a song to whistle the next day's work away.
