Saints & Saddle-ites

It was a rotten little town with a lot of rotten little people in it. Reminded me of the first woman who slapped me. She had made the transition from the girl of my dreams to the woman of my nightmares in the blink of an eye. I never saw it coming or her the same way again. It all changed in that one brutal instant.

Yeah, this quaint little burg had lost the glow from it's peaches and cream. Named by the Spanish after St. Ralph of Vaucelles, a 12th century, English Benedictine monk, this town was anything but saintly now. Still, I didn't take it personally. It was like she said. "It ain't personal, sugar. I don't like you, but it ain't personal..."
